Stevie B, whose real name is Steven Bernard Hill, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on April 19, 1958, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. He is of African-American and Puerto Rican descent. Stevie B is best known for his freestyle and dance-pop music hits from the 1980s and 1990s, such as "Because I Love You (The Postman Song)" and "Spring Love", which became popular in the United States and internationally. Stevie B is considered one of the pioneers of freestyle music.
